He has championed threatened species conservation in Victoria and New South Wales, harmonising forestry management with biodiversity conservation. His leadership roles include Deputy GM for NSW Forests, Regional Manager for the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service, and Manager Bushland for the City of Hobart. Here, he oversaw 4,700 hectares of reserves, tackling bushfire threats while maintaining diverse values.
